I have to imagine fixing el-ultra luxo bimmer is FAR more of an annoyance than a person with whom you differentiate on the internet. That's just me though. I'm debating starting drinking early today.

I think you're confusing insecurity with curiosity.

And that's why I buy cheap Korean cars. At least when they finally break they're cheap.

Nah. Our Motto is "We're small and we're Proud but we're not going to be loud in case one of these chicks over here don't know about us yet!"

Depends on the amount of time spent dealing with either. After this Friday I'll have three weeks to work on the berkeleying beemer, which will leave little time for the internets.

You have to get better drugs. How silly are you going to feel telling "BJs for benedryl" stories at the round-table in rehab?

Yeah, luckily I didn't buy this POS. It was acquired from the FIL and since it aint worth jack squat (seriously KBB on it is about $2K in perfect condition) I might as well throw a few parts at it and drive it until it pukes and I can sell it to some kid with more time than experience.
Though its damned tempting to use it as a trade-in with all of the parts I bought for it in the trunk....
Surprisingly most of the fancy stuff still works, but the front suspension is pretty much shot, the U-joints are just about dead and there's a miss in the engine which could be intake leak, injector, injector driver, coil pack or plug. Of course given how heavy it is, being down on power is not a good thing.

Thanks for making that image pop into my head....

I can imagine a large car down on power.... when I was 15 I bought a 1980 Buick Park Ave with the 350 Diesel. Injector pump was going and only hte second stage worked. So from a stop until ~15-20mph it would almost get you killed. Luckily, when the second stage came on line it would almost roast the rear tire. Ahhh... I miss that couch it had for a seat.

There is a deli I eat at sometimes just because the dining area faces a yoga studio across the street with giant windows.

For real, you can still buy real ephedrine in most states, just gotta ask for Bayer Bronkaid or Primatine Tablets and not look like a tweaker. Good for staying awake on long drives too.

Fixed
I always find it more amusing to think of how much beer I've had in fluid ounce quantity as opposed to # of beers. I mean, I've only had 4 beers. But they're tallboys,or pounders to you east coast weirdos. 16x4 is 64oz, or a half a gallon of beer. That suddenly sounds like a lot more beers.
