Ehh, I'm 20 and I've spent the past two days driving a new M235i... how do we know he doesn't work for a sports car magazine?

Because none of his coworkers have been online making fun of him.

I suppose all of the people that lose control on a race track, are uninformed drivers, driving cars they do not own? I never knew that. I almost wrecked the r8 on the second day I owned it because a woman swerved into my lane to get around a guy on a bike, crossing the double yellow line. Somehow I'm sure it would have become "rich guy that can't drive wrecks his R8 on the 2nd day of ownership" instead of "woman crosses double yellow, running another driver off of the road"
You might want to check the Weaties you ate this morning, there appears to be piss in them
You have managed to turn the implication of "young stupid guy" into an assumed damnation of all wealthy people.

That's what sells papers. I suppose they could have done well after my accident if they went with "Fat guy dismembers Escort" but the readers would have been greatly disappointed.
I said I was sad for the car, pushing a brand new car that you just got and are unfamiliar with beyond the limits on a public road is pure unadulterated stupidity. Everyone on here im sure has done stupid things, some weve gotten away with some we havent. But I habe no pity for the stupidity not gotten away with as I wouldnt expect any either if the situation were reversed

OK, fair enough. Alternate perspectives are always a good thing.
I am not sure anyone is saying he "deserves" it, just that some sort of stupidity was very likely involved.
Hey, at least you (or me) didn't call anyone a moron, like the OP

Yes I did, if I was in that drivers place instead I would expect to be called a moron, idiot or even worse.
I don't think that it really matters if he saved up and bought it, or if it was given to him. The fact remains that he wrecked it.
And yes, I believe that he is a moron for doing so.

"Rich moron" "daddy's insurance" and "he must not have appreciated it because someone gave it to him" I was just trying to point out the other side, maybe it's his car, maybe he worked for it. Does someone deserve to total a car just because he's young and it's an expensive car?
That's just jealousy...

Havent heard any jealousy, more like anger towards some fool who totaled a really nice car that a lot of us would probably like to have and would appreciate. Looking at a couple of your posts it seems like you enjoy flaming, I have seen next to no flaming on these boards in my short time here. These boards are probably the most respectful on the interwebz that ive ever seen which is why ive found it such an enjoyable experience to read and post
