It's not just you...
I wonder how many decades of driveway plowing services you could buy with the cost of a CNC machine though?

Robo throwers and mowers have been around a while.
I thought it looked like a kids casket too!
Really well done for a prototype
Been a southerner all my life so pardon my ignorance but how do u handle the layer of snow that does not get moved? Wont that turn to ice later?

Either with a bit of salt (Prestone's "Driveway Heat" is calcium cloride, extra ion means better melting, works wonderfully). Or, if the sun is shining, the black asphalt will melt and evaporate that thin layer of snow in short order.

one of my cousins was given a cnc mill from around the mid 80's for free... came with a bunch of tooling, too... maybe someday he'll find the software to make it work..
In reply to mrwillie:
If temps are in the 20s and you dont salt or sugar it, yes, if colder it just packs down to packed snow, which you will have pretty soldid traction on with the correct tires.
