Willie had pot on his bus, in other news the sky is blue. Besides, at 6 ounces it sounds more like Willie was almost out of pot.

SIERRA BLANCA, Texas – A U.S. Border Patrol spokesman says country singer Willie Nelson was charged with marijuana possession after 6 ounces was found aboard his tour bus in Texas.
Patrol spokesman Bill Brooks says the bus pulled into the Sierra Blanca, Texas, checkpoint about 9 a.m. Friday. Brooks says an officer smelled pot when a door was opened and a search turned up marijuana.
Brooks says the Hudspeth County sheriff was contacted and Nelson was among three people arrested.
Sheriff Arvin West didn't immediately return a phone message left at his home Friday, but he told the El Paso Times that Nelson claimed the marijuana was his. The singer was held briefly a $2,500 bond before being released.
Nelson spokeswoman Elaine Schock declined to comment when contacted via e-mail by The Associated Press.
Who knew that Willie smoked pot.
Definitely lazy cops or they were just in need of revenue.
Meanwhile, 50 more illegals crossed the border while they were filling out paperwork...
I liked the '...in other news, the sky is blue'
I never knew that Willie was anything other than a guy with braids...

Willie's parents must be incredibly disappointed.

And he cut his braids! He must've been high for that decision.
I think it's one of those "things" that happens. Wille goes on a tour, and gets busted in 20+ towns for pot possession. Just another part of the tour. Willie's happy to help the police get their picture in the paper, and everyone goes home happy.
I know when I'm down to 6 oz, I consider myself to be put of pot.
Willie, Wally, both on buses... hmmm. I thought anything over an ounce was 'possession with intent to distribute' which in the eyes of the law is a bit more severe than plain ol' possession. But then again I don't exactly run in those circles.
