Yup. See my post from earlier. My Focus RS is manual (all of the MK3 Focus RS are manual).

I co-drove my friend's at an autocross and after I finished a run and pulled back into grid, I had a panic moment when it shut off, because I thought I had broke it. I had never come across a manual transmission car with auto stop-start before.

Your friend set you up on that. He should have turned it off for you or told you about it. I know I would and I'd make sure it was in Race mode (if it wasn't already).

Ah, OK. Mazda had put out some press releases about trying this out that implied they were a bit further along at making this to production than they really were.
