Had a fun moment like that back at 18. Cop sitting at a red light that I went through while green at the speed limit (65). He saw a taillight out and came to find me. Speed limit dropped to 55 and then 45 over the next 2-3 miles. When he stopped me, he said "I had to go 80+ to catch you, how fast were you going?" Uh, the speed limit. You weren't moving for quite a while, so it is pretty simple. His partner was rolling.
No ticket though.
