You snack that late in the afternoon?
You posted that an a hour after I'd finished my dinner.
From the perspective of a non-dairy eater, Olive garden is disgusting on more levels than just about any restaurant I can think of.

My schedule is weird this week, but I think the actual sardines were consumed around 3:15. I was just having a pleasant memory an hour or so later.

I love Olive Garden. I haven't been to one in a while though. Every time I think about Olive Garden now, I think about this commercial whose script was written a few years ago by an AI (before AIs writing commercials was a trivial task that nobody would think twice about):
Infinite Stick
I'm a hipster snob when it comes to restaurants, I'd rather support good local places with local owners, then mediocre chain restaurants.

While you're not wrong, sometimes all your local options are worse than mediocre.

Thankfully not the case here. For example, OKC has one of the oldest continuously operating steakhouses in the country. Tons of chef's that are James Beard award winners and nominee's, good local ownership groups, etc. The food scene here has exploded the last 10ish years. I think twice Bon Appetit has named a new restaurant here as the best new restaurant in the country.

I am similar snob.
However, one nice thing about E36 M3ty chain restaurants: they share the nutrition info. Handy when you are tracking macros (or anything else really)
Pita chips with a garlic basil and triple feta dip. Very yummy and got everything from a Flea Market–love supporting a small business.

You also pretty much know exactly what you will get when you walk in there. Be it in Charleston, SC, or San Francisco.
Temp dropped 15* and it's sprinkling when the "what would you like for dinner" discussion went back & forth. No, cold, I'm making Beef Barley Soup.
When we BBQ beef, like steak or flank, I put left overs in a zip lock and goes in the freezer. Pulled 'em out, only needed a few items from the store. Celery. Rather than buy a head of celery, use 4 stalks and throw the rest out in 2 weeks, I got one of those plastic containers with 50/50 cleaned and sliced celery and carrot stalks.
Used all the carrots with 4 celeries leftover, so had Mud in a Ditch for snack.

A leftover deep fried lasagna stick/patty thing from dinner out the other day. Air fryer equipped toaster ovens are a game changer for leftovers.
Edit. One of these.

I just want to take a moment to thank God, or the multiverse, or just my parents that I am human. Other animals wander around eating whatever they can find. WE got creative and started inventing food. Like Crispy Lasagna Fritters. Where, praytell, do I find these?

Chain place near us in town We probably eat there 4-6 times a year. Good grub. Big portions. Those fritter things were an app but I sometimes get it as a meal.
