One I just came up with- When you need soemthing to quickly brush snow off your full size van, use one of these:
I got the whole windshield in one swipe, the hood in another, and the whole roof in 20 seconds. It won't work for ice, but for snow it's perfect, and I'm sure you guys have them.
This will scratch the e36 m3 out of the paint (micro scratches) so only use this on cars you really don't care about.
On cars I really care about, I use a leaf blower if possible and if there is ice I will melt it away. Snow and ice removal can ruin a nice paint job if not done properly

Ah yes, I should've mentioned that. I got my van with paint so cracked it looked like an antique painting left out in the elements. No worries about scratching the already totally destroyed paint.

If it is a symbol over top of a letter. For instance MOTÖRHEAD... Or Mötley Crüe.
My iPhone autocorrects to put the umlaut over the second O in Motörhead. Rock on, Apple.
If you have pets.. You could use the vacuum to remove pet hair from carpets, couches and chairs.. You could vacuum all of them several times and not get everything...
Save some electricity, and time.. Get a rubber squeegee, (If you have a broom handle attach it to the squeegee).
Then use the squeegee to go across the carpet or furniture.. My vacuum removes a good amount of hair, but I still get more and more with each pass.. The squeegee gets about 95% of it on the first pass. After using the squeegee, then vacuum.
Seriously this works!!!! It works really good!!!
If you live in a cold climate, when you are done with a plastic bottle, fill it with water. Place it outside and let it freeze... If there is a power outage fill you freezer with the frozen water bottles.. I had a long power outage this winter.. This saved my ass..
In spring, empty the water and recycle.. Unless you have room in your freezer/freezers.. If you do put them in there a full freezer uses way less energy than a empty one.. Especially if the freezer itself didn't have to do the initial freezing..
I got reminded of this tonight.
In College, I had room mates. One of their idiot friends, kept calling and calling and calling (land line). Nobody picked up, I was trying to sleep my, room mates weren't home. He called at least 35 times.. I was trying to sleep because I wanted to go out for drinks later that night..
Our phone had a call forwarding feature on it.. I looked at the number calling on call display. I then forwarded our phone to the person who was calling...
Every time that Idiot called, he got his own voicemail..
I he saw me at the bar later that night, and told me.
"I think I broke your phone, every time I call it I get my own voice mail, and I got 6 calls for people looking for you or one of your room mates.. I don't know what happened.."
I never told him what I did, and un-forwarded the phone as soon as I got home a few hours later... He never called over and over again.

By a roll of colored toilet paper, I have a pink one. When your regular supply of paper is exhausted pull out the emergency pink roll. That will remind you that you are out and need to re supply.
