I have been in the market for a Tacoma. I have been dealing with a couple of dealers trying to get the best price I can. Today one of them said hey I can't sell you a truck. All of the SR5's are on "stop sell". He said there is something about the wheels. I have googled around and it looks like a recall on the rear brake hoses. Does anyone know anything about this?
Interestingly at the exact same time one dealer told me that a second dealer gave me a deal that I think is a winner and I am ready to sign in it. The truck is 2 weeks out from delivery, I hope this is resolved by then.
I wonder how long until this is resolved? I'm hoping to pick mine up 2/24.

February 24th (2025) it is still in transit
Haven't even gotten my first oil change yet. I guess they can do the recall when it goes in for that. 😂
I hope for your sake they solve it quicker than ford has the camera on the maverick. Ive been waiting since Thanksgiving.
I assume you're looking at a 25, and they've sorted the transmission problems out?

Stop sales typically take months to resolve

Ugh. That's discouraging. I can't figure out if they actually have a stop sale. I have read the voluntary recall notices but nowhere does it say it also has a stop sale. One dealer says it does, the other one says no.
Yes it's a 25, as long as the trans lasts for 32k miles I am good, it will be Toyotas again by then.
