Can anyone read Arabic?
My parents got this sign in Saudi Arabia in the late 1970s and my mom thought it said "Welcome" or something similar to a greeting for a home. When I translated 'welcome' it didn't look like the sign. I tried using the Google Translate App with the photo thingie, but it came up with nothing. I'm fairly certain this is the direction since the back side is unfinished casting and the front (shown) is textured nicely.
"These pretzels are making me thirsty."

Let me ask a friend who will know.

Even with the Arab alphabet in front of me I can make heads or tails of it. They do read from right to left if I recall.
Can anyone read Arabic?
I can't read Arabic but...yeah that sign doesn't seem to be in Arabic letters.

IIRC, Arabic script is even more convoluted than American English.....
Pretty sure it says "Thug Life"

Arabic. "Greetings and Salutations" or "How are you doing". A basic greeting.
I remember how to say, "Peace be unto you", "And unto you, Peace", "Halt", "Stay there", "Lay down your weapons", "I am an American soldier", and a few things along that line.
I hope I don't need any but the first two again.

Sweet. Thanks. Excuse my ignorance however. Is it in fact Arabic or is it Persian (Farsi)?

The picture is in Arabic. I also think its one of those things that does not translate as 100% literal.
