My first thought was, "I can't believe how fat all those people are..."

Probably ranks up there with the luck drunk drivers have in an automobile crash where they walk away but no one else does.
Glad no one was killed, but WTF were they doing drinking at 1:30 in the afternoon? Man. I hope my life never gets that bad.

It sounds perfectly normal to me, but then again I live here.

For me that's usually a sign of a great day.
Then again, I'm not doing that every day ... usually.

My aunt got rearended by a drunk driver at 8AM some years ago. Starting early or leftover from the night before?
Whenever I was loaded that early in the morning, it was from the night before. I almost never started drinking before noon.
the only thing I can think off.. that truck plowed into a bar.. and trapped patrons against the said bar.. that is mostly just wood (and probably lightweight and cheap wood) so the bar gave under the impact. If they had been trapped between two cars.. that would have been a LOT different
A Priest, a Deacon, a Rabbi, and an Imam walk into a bar. The bartender says, "What is this? A joke?"

I've done it, but at the time my shift at work was like 2a to 10a or something. Had to be in bed by about 4p to get up early enough.
A lot of Chicago Taverns cater to 2nd and 3rd shift workers. Seeing people in a bar drinking at 8:30am does happen near some factories. Ask no questions.
It seems to be an epidemic. How long before we have flesh eating house crashers turning us all into half eaten roadkill? http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/brooklyn/klyn_woman_arrested_after_vehicle_AZb5z1GwUrmHEQECzhB8EI?utm_medium=rss&utm_content=%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20Brooklyn
Police say a Brooklyn woman was arrested on a DWI charge after her vehicle crashed into a Long Island house.
Suffolk County police say the car stopped in the backyard after hitting the house in Huntington early Monday. A 90-year-old woman and her caretaker were in the house, but were not hurt.
Suffolk County police say Sophia Anderson will be arraigned Tuesday.
The name of her attorney was not immediately available.
I'm having internet flashbacks to when that guy put a WRX through a house and made such a dumb post about it that the entire internet showed up to make fun of him.

I haven't done it for years, but there is something satisfying about getting a load on on a Saturday afternoon, going home for supper, and having the hangover gone by 8am Sunday morning.
