QFT. There are so many shiny happy people out there that I do everything possible to not engage when in traffic. And, even if they aren't shiny happy people, maybe their husband/wife/son/daughter/etc just got killed/arrested/diagnosed/etc. It could be the worst day of their life. Who knows? But life is way too damn short to get twisted up by some perceived slight by another driver.

While I understand that commercial driving has become a really E36 M3ty and abusive job, my empathy ends when they berkeley up and endanger me.

If I had a dollar for every time the Hella horns I had in my BRIGHT RED car were the only thing that saved me from eating ditch or that asinine cable barrier junk MI uses now, I would have had a free set of Hella horns!

So the trucker goes by the online name "PoorUniversityKid"? That and the fact that the trucks are keeping up with traffic, I'm going to have to call...

I'm not saying it's 100% accurate, or that it's bogus. But the guy on the radio said it was a traffic jam. He also sounded much older than a university student. It'd be interesting to see if anything were to come of it. If I were the guy in the focus and this dude is on the radio bragging it up, I'd be looking to see what kind of legal trouble I could get him in.

i have no problem with truckers in general- the job they do is very important- but sometimes they are just some of the most shiny happy people on the road... i don't know how common this is, but on the stretch of I94 that i drive on a daily basis, truckers like to come hauling ass up to a vehicle.. then they move over to pass, get alongside the car/truck/other semi that they are passing, then just camp out there for a few miles.. they seem to especially like doing it if the vehicle they are passing is going 5-10mph below the 70mph posted speed limit and there is a line of people in cars and pickups behind them that have the audacity to drive on their highway.... they also like to wait behind another vehicle for a few miles until i catch up to them, then decide to pass that other vehicle just as i'm getting ready to pass them... i know they do it on purpose- it happens too often for it to not be some stupid game they play... it's just plain flat out selfish and immature of them- they have to understand that they aren't the only people that are using the interstate to make money- i'm on my way to work, too, and i pay my fair share of taxes to build and maintain those roads, too...

I agree, this happens almost daily to me as well, they seem to try to spice up their day by being total E36 M3s to anybody who has the audacity to want to drive on their roadway.

Who did you commute with, ice cube?
