I keep reading it as “two foot iltis” like a scale model of the VW Iltis.
Here you go with a two foot Iltis.
In reply to ultraclyde :I’ve owned boats most of my life. My current one is a 1979 Sea Ray Sundancer I bought new in 1978 for 79 delivery.
Great boat with a lot of teak. seldom costs me much to own. A few hundred a year to insure average of $3-500 a year in maintenance. Sits on the end of the dock waiting for me to toss the mooring lines off and go.
Good for waterskiing towing inflatables around or just nice cruising. 105 gallon fuel tank and lately I don’t use all of it in a season. Bathroom, ( head) galley 2 staterooms and I’ve had 23 on it for the 4th of July fireworks.
Before that I had a flat bottom drag boat and runner bottom drag boat. One carbureted small block and the other a fuel injected big block.
But my very favorite was a 1947 Chris Craft Rivera with the triple carb KBL set up. I should have kept that one. The sound, the ride, just the feel of that mahagony run about has me wanting another.
