I'm thinking that with the big race this weekend, we ought to do something, either a "24 minutes of Le Mans", or one of those 45-60 min enduros that have been popular, with maybe one or two forced pit stops.
Just to keep it simple I think we ought to just copy what we're doing already with b-spec and Trans-Am. 10 mins practice, 10 mins qualifying, then the race. Obviously multiclass, say 2006 or newer, P1 for the LMP class and R3 for the GT class... I'd be fine with the cars being bone stock, though that might wind up with pretty spec fields if everybody picks the "best" car. Do it on the modern version with chicanes. I'm up for either tonight after b-spec and Trans-Am or tomorrow, 10:00AM Eastern.
I'll run the #7 Penske Racing Porsche RS Spyder Evo in LMP class, or the #80 Flying Lizard Porsche 911 GT3-RSR, depending on what gets us closer to class number parity.
