I was a big fan of the original Baldur's Gate back in the day, and I've been waiting for this game for a while. Yesterday, Baldur's Gate 3 went into general release. Being an adult, I have to work and such, but I have managed about an hour of play in the game so far. My first impressions:
1. Character creation options are pretty crazy.
2. Being used to FPS games, the interface and controls for Baldur's Gate are wildly different, but not that hard to pick up. The game can be set up to auto pause and such so that you're able to plot out your actions.
3. The game has UK English spelling and accents everywhere.
4. I bet one of the first mods for the game is a way to launch it without having the stupid portal for the stupid publisher pop up.
That's it so far.
