Yeah... thats a honda engine in an old ford tractor...

yup.. He's got 20 forward speeds..
5 from the bike trans and 4 from the tractor trans.
edit: no reverse in bike trans
8N's take a flathead very easily. The rods, pistons and many internal parts are interchangable (Ford's way of cost-cutting).
That Honda swap is kinda cool, though.
Actually.. That guy has a Ford Flathead 8n.. A 351 Windsor 8n.. A Chevy 350 8n and a Mopar 318 8n..
It's pretty cool.
There was a company back then that was selling new tractors with the flathead V8s. I see them at antique tractor and engine shows every once in a while. They are neat machines.
I'm liking the flat six though, Very cool.
I once saw a 600 hp V-8 with a roots style supercharger sitting on top on a Cub Cadet riding lawn mower.

why would someone want to put a Ford 8N in a chevy 327?
and i bet those open headers sound "interesting" while pulling a plow.
