Well I Just Spent the Largest Amount of My Own Money in My Life!

Dropped the Bank Draft off at the lawyers office today. After 9 months of living in a friend's basement, I have a new project on the horizon. I get the keys Thursday. 

Boy did I berkeley up that title!! Missing the word Spent!!

Probably the best investment you'll ever make.  Even if you don't make a killing financially, it will pay dividends in other ways.

Thanks Everyone. It's not my first house but it's my first by myself (ie. not married anymore). First time I ever had a substantial down payment though. Interesting to watch over $100 grand turned into paper and then real estate.

Yes, it has a garage and it's even a decent one - 15.5' X 23.5'. Bigger than a single.

It's around 1200 sq. ft. - crawl space.
