Who says she didn't say anything about it and besides the article said they spent "significant amount of time" there.

Not saying I wouldn't have spent a significant amount of time looking too, given the opportunity but you have to wonder WHO they were looking for. If it was obvious the couple didn't resemble the party they were looking for why they didn't leave quickly and go about bustin' down the proper door.
