Most Albertan's would agree we don't want any part in your broken systems like outrageous health care costs and education.
Forbes recently rated Canada as the 6th best country in the world to live in, and having traveled throughout Canada and the USA, I understand why.
Forbes obviously visited during the summer.

Every single small business owner apparently... Even though their business tax rate of 3% doesn't change.
i dont know what a canadian small business entrepreneur would find more advantageous down here. Our business and corporate taxes put most of the world to shame, our government regulations and IRS complicity are extremely onerous and complicated, and getting business loans for startup is ridiculously hard as of the last several years.

My title is tongue in cheek. I clearly am a fairly conservative individual, but the corruption and cronyism was too much. Albertans have had enough. This has been the longest running streak of a political party in North America.
In case you don't know what the New Democratic Party is all about, well... Imagine your commie pinko stereotypes come true.
They're going to confiscate all privately owned land and businesses and imprison/execute the former owners pre-emptively?

Best news to hit Saskatchewan since we sent the NDP packing. Looking forward to a bunch of new head offices being built here.
Enjoy!
Companies and people don't want to be in Saskatchewan

No, they're going to fund every half-baked special interest group and social program with money that totally does not come from your pockets.

You are thinking of 15 years ago, when we had an NDP government.
Saskatoon has had the most ridiculous building boom in our history over the last 10 years or so. The provinces population has been stable since the CCF took power 75 years ago. Its up by 20% or so in the last decade.

Oh no, I know exactly what I am talking about. I love Saskatchewan... as I pass through it to where I am actually going
I will give credit where credit is due, Saskatoon (in my books) is to Edmonton as Edmonton is to Calgary. But having been everywhere in this country, Sask is the last place I'd set my eyes on to live. Its just not my style.

I didn't say we'd let 'em in...
I think it's cute when the Canucks bicker

The old Canada forum section on this site was never so active. Maybe you guys should crank it back up.
Congratulations Alberta!
Looks like you made a fantastic choice in your new political leaders:
