In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
I'm sorry I keep posting Chris Joss stuff, but the dude writes all the music and plays all the instruments. He's one of the single most talented musicians I've ever encountered.
Hell, I'd be overjoyed if I could play bass like he does... let alone guitar, sitar, drums, keys, winds, etc. I think he makes his own videos too.
Also been listening to Peabody's Ari Borger Quartet and John Patitucci Guitar Quartet from earlier in this thread. Both are great stuff.
That Ari Borger album is just solid from beginning to end.
FZ has been known to play all the instruments on some of his studio stuff, and as I was looking for one of those songs I came across this show. It's from the same tour, and about 3 weeks before the Bongo Fury album was recorded. That's been my favourite Zappa album since the 70's .
With an FZ show you never know what you're going to get, but on this one they were on, and he was definitely in the mood to play.
I wish I could convert it to MP3, but I think it's too long for the online converters I've been using. It's a fantastic show and perfect shop music

Ran across this surfing YT. Solid stoner blues rock. Never heard of these folks before, but the rest of the album is pretty good too.

I subjected my coworkers to 8 solid hours of stoner post-rock on 4/20.
Today we're listening to a bunch of Hot Tuna. Here's a representative example:

Somebody has to do the heavy lifting.
To my coworker, the only guy I really work with, every day is 4/20, but he likes my music and even asks for it now. Nobody likes my music.
I pulled this oldie out of the box o CD's in the shop last night and played it through, and I'll do it again tonight
This album has a little bit of everything, including an old prison work song
Some good playing on this one
