Went on a nice long drive the other day, finally got a chance to listen to the new Megadeth album from start to finish.
Dave really got back to his THRASH roots on this one. Great album.
And listening to music in the car is always my favorite.

I'm not much for super-groups. Nor am I necessarily a fan of Mr. Slash. But something about Velvet revolver just hits right. Maybe it's the late Mr. Weiland. I'm not one to idolize artists or celebrities, but I think it's a real shame he isn't still making music. A uniquely talented vocalist.
Working in the shop last night I pulled this one out of the box o CD's. Haven't heard it in some time, it's better than I remembered

Encouragement taken. That's some good stuff. I could listen to jazz drumming like that any time.
Tonight's flavor on the AirPods is ... wait for it... more metal. Some classic Cradle of Filth.

I let my playlist run out and this is one of the things Youtube Music gave me on the drive home. I did not spill my water.
My brain isn't wired conventionally. Much like some ADHD individuals actually calm down with caffeine, I can fall asleep to some of the gnarliest metal. Tonight's lullaby:
