just acquired this album the other day:
the track Shades Of Grey has been on repeat.
picked up a bunch of stuff at the library, now listening to Dresden Dolls. next up is The Dead Weather.
Metallica ...and Justice For All. had this on cassette BITD but somehow never got it on CD. just picked it up at the local public library and ripped it last night.
Nickel Creek - Destination
Anyone who has any inclination, check this one out. Sara takes her voice and shows you that there is real power behind that shy façade. Her growly parts of the song remind me of Aretha, in the best possible way. I cannot stop listening to it.
Hank III "Straight to Hell" album (Smoke & Wine playing right now)
First time I've listened to III. I'm hooked!
(Thanks Karl )
I love Hank III, because sometimes he does country shows, and sometimes he does punk shows. But he usually doesn't decide until he wakes up that day, which pretty much guarantees he's going to piss of part of his audience either way.
Currently listening to a bunch of Thievery Corporation and some Dining Rooms.
Keisza - Hideaway http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESXgJ9-H-2U
I'm digging the voice and the song itself. I first heard it back at the tail end of the dubstep crap and am glad this is helping bring back the House genre from the abyss of DnB

Dude. Yes.
in memory of Stevie Ray Vaughan who died on this day in 1990, i am getting absolutely nothing done right now because my earbuds are filling my brain with "Dirty Pool" from "Live at Carnegie Hall"
