The first issue of GRM I ever purchased had an article about putting a VW Diesel radiator in a Spitfire to cool the Mazda rotary being swapped into it.
One of the earliest articles I remember was about the $1500 Challenge car where a Cosworth Vega engine got swapped into a Midget (er, MG-VC) along with a rearend from something or other and a bunch of school bus yellow paint because it was all stuff just lyin' around.

The late great Eva at her best. Beautiful woman, beautiful artist. Such a great pure voice and absolute perfect pitch. This is a great song with great lyrics. Everything Eva did was great. These are interesting, haunting lyrics, and seem very prescient considering her short life.
