Found these guys today thanks to Pandora. Crash Kings. Pretty rocking stuff for just a 3 piece band.

I clicked that thinking you were talking about Al Jourgensen but not expecting to be right.

BAP is a German rock band and this is their signature song. The song title translates roughly to "damn long time ago." Even though it's in the German Koelsch dialect, and probably never sung in English, it's a catchy tune that tends to stay in your head. I almost had a chance to see BAP perform live in Cologne in 2012. Annie and I were on a Viking river cruise on the Rhine. The boat stopped in Cologne. We went into town to sample the famous Koelsch beer and saw that they were setting up for an outdoor concert on the main square near the cathedral. Unfortunately our boat was leaving at 6:00 pm and the concert started later. But the beer was good.
Watch this video three times and this song will stay in your head forever. Also, watch their videos of this song from the eighties. Great. That's the mark of a true classic.

This is what good contemporary music is about. You know, there's all this discourse about contemporary pop music being not too good. I agree. That's probably because of the music marketing involvement. But despite that, there's still good contemporary music being made. And here's an example.
Lindsey Stirling - Shatter Me
Holy crap I had no idea dub step violin even existed, but her song with Lzzy Hale has been on repeat all morning.

Hell no, I can't understand Cajun/ French Canadian language, but I'll listen to her sing all night long!
What is it about females and the French language that brings out the best in male hormones? Well, maybe Italian, Polish, Spanish, English, and other languages too ... is that sexist or just being complimentary? I dunno. Just ask Donald. Or apply common sense.
And now for something completely different ...
