Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa Live in Amsterdam.
Pink Floyd: Hey You
Car-guy percussionist Nick Mason on this one. He's been a PF performer from day one and then all the way through. He likes cars as much as he likes his music.
David Gilmour: Comfortably Numb
Contemporary. Not too bad for an old guy. The only thing thing that I'd like to hear is Nick Mason on percussion.
(Seriously, this is a very dignified contemporary studio production of this PF classic. I say that because Roger Wayers isn't in it. Anything with Roger Waters involved is not dignified. I'm not a fan of Roger Waters. Any time he gets involved with a PF reunion concert he has a knack for cheapening the production. He seems to equate flailing his arms and pointing at the audience with musical talent).

Bob Seger: Running Against the Wind
"Deadlines and commitments ... what to leave in, what to leave out." These were my worries for the last thirty years of employment. This song has arguably the most prophetic lyrics of any rock song ever written over the past sixty years. In my opinion of course, Springsteen doesn't hold a candle to this guy when it comes to "blue collar" rock. Bob Seger is the man. (I find the term "blue collar rock" offensive, but unfortunately that's what the media has deemed it is. And we all believe what the media says, don't we? )
Interesting.

They got the drums pretty much nailed, but the bassist has it all wrong. Sounds like they were having fun though!
Bob Seger: Night Moves
"Working on mysteries without any clues."
"Workin' and practisin'"
Simple but great vintage rock lyrics by Bob Seger.
Another Bob Seger Classic: Fire Lake
The vintage video is absolutely awesome. It includes out-takes of Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda from the great '69 movie Easy Rider (with a stand-in for Jack Nicholson buddy-packing Peter Fonda). Great scenery and great music.
The Zombies: Time of the Season (Original).
Great artistic talent by the Zombies and a great production of this classic song. Funny thing ... this song was contemporary in the mid-sixties ('68, I think) and I was in my prime. Now, today, I'm in my mid-sixties (67, I think), and feel like I'm still in my prime.
