I am planning on doing my brakes this weekend with help from some local folks and don't have rotors or pads. I was going to order them yesterday and get expedited shipping but it didn't work out. What local store would carry the parts i need to pickup?

Depends, where is "local"? NAPA, Autozone, Pep Boys, whatever will probably have rotors. They might have pads too, but not necessarily good pads.

I'd recommend waiting to get the right pads. We have the excellent Porterfield R4S on the shelf.

As a guy who doesn't sell them, they really are excellent.

Yeah those are the pads I want but I would have to overnight them at this point. I guess that would be worth it since I can just get the rotors locally.

When I did mine (and I wasn't on a time budget) I went to NAPA and got the cheap rotors, and got HPS pads from a "local" race shop. Local means an hour away, so I had them shipped.

I did similar as stated except I used CarboTech pads. Rotors came from NAPA, they had the best price for rotors.

Which napa rotors are you guys using? The only ones they have in stock are the Brake Rotor Only - Front - Premium Part Number: NB 4886464 for $22 which are their cheap ones.

Then if you need them immediately, those are the ones you will use.
