We have a 100lb German Shepherd named Zulu and a 10lb cat named T.A.B. (terror-at-best) who does just that. Terrorize the dog.
Honestly, they're both amazing companions.

This is Sunny. He's an 8 year old Golden-Husky mix and as chill and sweet as can be.
Loves him some squirrels in the tree out the window.
Also loves to play in the snow.
Sings a mean duet.
Cleans up pretty well, too
Ollie, the most serious dog in the world. A friend of my MIL's Cocker had pups and they couldn't find a home for this guy. We went to look and my wife, who swears she's not a dog person, picked him up and kept him. He is an avid collector of tennis balls and squeaky toys and is the mildest best behaved dog I've ever had. He also has a number of quirks like he hates to get wet, hates car rides, and if one of us doesn't come home at night he camps out by the back door. The bottom picture is him playing with my sister's 6 month old. He would roll the ball to her with his nose and she would roll it back.

This is Sugar. Toy Poodle. and about 7-lbs. We didn't name her, she's a rescue. Were told she was about 5 years old when we got her so that makes her around 12 now. She does love going for rides.
5 cats and 3 dogs. All rescues and some with very serious medical issues (starved, shot, punctured eye, anemic), but they are all fat and happy now!! I'll have to round up pictures later.
6 dogs, chihuahua, chihuahua, tiny terrier mutt, minpin, bulldog and sharpei 4 cats and a tiny turtle.
And they're best friends:
Also 3 cats, two gold fish, and a quaker parrot. (We found out today the french bulldog does NOT have cancer as we had feared, so that's pretty cool)

ahh, nice. I spent 5.5 years being primary caretaker for a red ear and yellow belly. have you had turtles before, or is this a new adventure?
No pics handy but we have a pair of traveling Scottie's, Stewart (6) and Wallace (3), plus the stay at home outside farm dog, Bear (15), and inside cat, Opel (7).
Two cats right now, both rescues. "Tuffy" a 6 month old tabby and his 14 year old pillow "Sylvester".

I had 2 red ears for about 20 years so I've been down this road before. This one is tiny, just about 2-3 inches on the carpace right now. Someone dropped him off at the local shelter in a tupperware sandwich container and they weren't equipped for aquatics so a call went out and I had a a spare tank. We named him Tupper after his unfortunate container.
