My wife and I are on a road trip to see family in Bangor Maine. We stopped for the night in Miford Connecticut and will be here all day on Monday. Any recommendations on what to do or see?

FCP Euro, if you need any parts. The original Frank Pepe's just up the road in New Haven.

Try the Stone Bridge in Milford for lunch or dinner, or head into New Haven for pizza on Wooster Street. Pepe's,  Sally's Apizza or Modern... you can't go wrong with any of them. Dockside in Stratford (South on Rte. 1, on the Milford Stratford line) is also a great place to eat, especially on a sunny day when you can sit by the water.

If you like ice cream, try Milkcraft in New Haven or Fairfield.

Walking around Yale is pretty cool, but wrap it up before the sun goes down. Probably best to avoid the New Haven green.

Visit David Silberkleit (the Bugeye Guy) in Branford. Nice selection of vintage cars for sale. He's a great guy. And he's sold 400 Bugeye Sprites. He owns Bugeye #1.

Google maps says 95 to 91 to 84 to 496 to 95 to 295. About 5 hours and 40 minutes from Milford.
