I keep getting this whenever I try to do anything on the board.
Seems the errors from a few days ago aren't completely solved, I've seen a lot of duplicate posts recently which are a telltale sign.
I've gotten the same and have been able to fix it by removing all images, emojis, graphics, etc. and then just posting the plain text. I can then edit my message to add other content back in after posting. Hope this helps.

Let me get in touch with the devs again and see why some of you are still having issues.
If are currently having issues, go ahead and email me colin@grassrootsmotorsports.com so we can figure out what's going on.
I was still seeing it on certain posts. "look at my new Miata" simply didn't happen.
I logged out and could see the posts but logged out I couldn't comment. Logged back in and the "something went wrong" message came back.
Then saw something about our profile pics and deleted mine. So now I'm an amorphous gray blob but the forum works for me.
It'd be great if people could stop messing with E36 M3.
I'll need something to be a profile pic soon. Down to my final 40ish posts before MegaDorkdom hits and I can't do that as a gray blob.
I'm sure Colin has been suggesting this privately, but I'll say it publicly: Clearing your cache seems to solve the issue.
Yeah, Colin's talking to the devs, but clearing cache seems to cure many issues. (Just did it myself the other day....)

Just did the same and it appears to have fixed the issue for me. Yesterday it wouldn't even let me delete my profile pic. So, i get to find a new one too!
Yeah, some profile pics have caused issues. Mine is unchanged from a million years ago, but it's also a small jpg file.
I tried a number of different things, logging out and back in, clearing cache, clearing cookies, changing my password, etc. What seemed to fix it was removing my profile picture. It was a gif (I think animated, but can't remember anymore) and that seemed to fix everything.
FWIW/YMMV.

Looks like some issues were still related to avatars, so the devs made a few more changes on the back end. If clearing cache doesn't fix the problem, let us know. (Also, sounds like jpg avatars are best for site performance.)
Thanks again.
Changing my (very old, very unchanged in years) avatar by saving the old (originally .gif for some reason) as a jpeg and reuploading it fixed the issue completely for me.
As a former forum admin, I truly don't understand how this type of issue comes about, but I'm glad it is now 'fixed' for me.
David, tell Nancy and the rest of the team behind the scenes thanks for fixing my login issue.
I thought our fun little name changing game borked the server and booted me out. Permanently.
You'll need to log in to post.
