I have a friend who wrecked her '97 Honda CRV in the front. It needs a hood, A/C condensor, radiator, bumper, bumper bkts., bumper cover, air box, hood, right fender and headlight assembly. Airbags are blown, but it was never turned in on insurance and the thing runs like new (can't run it a long time due to radiator). It is the 2.0L/auto/AWD. I can get it cheap, but what to do with it?

I have a dream of completely cutting the body off of a cheap awd vehicle, putting in a cage and seat, and autox ing the heck out of it. Get it light enough, ftd ftw.
A lot of honda guys like to build that motor with vtec heads etc. It can fit into other honda cars fairly easy( I think). Though you would want to go with a different transmission.

And always keep a backup block around.... The squish area doesn't work so well on that setup. It'll run. Dear god, it'll run. Until it blows up.
Probably a better idea to just build a spare LS head for it. DOHC, non-vtec. Throw some nasty cams in there and have a good time.
This a normal B20 or a B20z?
If it's a B20Z i'll take the motor.
I don't know; how do I tell if it is a B20 or a B20Z?

I has a good title, too. 127,XXX miles. I like the rallyx idea. Where do they have meets locally? I am near Atlanta.

It'll be stamped on the motor, left hand side probably 4-5 inches from the exhaust manifold.
I don't think the B20z came in that year, but then again, i'm also not positive...
Nevermind... looks like it was 99-00. Sorry!
