I saw the Merry Xmas thread and didn't see much in the way of gifts, a little here and there. While I'm waiting for my 930am appt to get a new muffler for the xB, I thought I'd see what cool swag you guys/girls got this year? (Yes it can include non-material ecxellent gifts like your long lost son home for the holidays...)

I got a kitten. My other boys are not happy about it.
I got a merch package for Switchfoot's upcoming album. Already have tickets to see them in February too!
Parents got us a large framed thing with my wife and I's first dance song lyrics.
Her sister gave us a shadow box with her Matron of honor speech written out and some rose pedals from the wedding.
Plus a bunch of other small thoughtful gifts that I really enjoyed.

My son wrote me a book.
“If you give a Pop a project...”, unashamedly based on the children’s book “If you give a mouse a cookie”.
He started with a picture of our house, then went through all the projects I have done back to back to back this year. All published in a hardcover Shutterfly book.
Last couple pages said, “But the thing to know above all else...
is that when you give a Pop a project...
he’s going to make it a home!”

new hoodie, I really wanted one that didn't smell like a garage. Also got a couple t shirts and a replacement S&K ratchet for my set.
Got a 3 ton low profile HF jack and a pair of race ramps - I've reached that age where I get nervous under a car, even with good jack stands in play - the race ramps will help with my under-car phobia. I also got a new GM front air deflector for the Camaro - the one that's on there now was cut for a cold air intake hose and it's pretty beat up.
Favorite gift though was a trail cam. We are semi-rural and have lots of deer through our yard but I've always been curious just how many and what times they walk through. Set it up last night and got my first pictures this morning when I woke up.
My wife found me a weighted blanket. I've added covers "for weight" before but never thought about using one of these. It was truly excellent sleep last night.
The best part was talking with my youngest and my nephew as I assembled it.
The best gift I got this year was, yeah I know it sounds all Hallmarky and E36 M3, that my wife and I really nailed it with the gifts for the kids this year. They laughed, they cried, it was really fun.
plus I got zero blowback for the impending fly/drive to get the C4 from PimpM3 this weekend.
Plus I covered the flight for me and my buddy with frequent flyer miles.
Plus the guy I bought the Corvair from is delivering it Jan 5th.
plus I got a tool shed for Christmas so I can finish taking back the garage.

As you can tell, this Christmas was heavy on vinyl! Extremely happy to add every one of those records to the collection. The Maiden and Metallica ones are new remastered 180g represses, while the others are original releases.
Aside from the records, I'm especially pumped about Raspberry Pi Zero that my BIL gave me. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I have a Pi 3+ B doing Retropie duty, but I might build a tabletop arcade out of this one or a motion-sensing security camera. There are so many possibilities with it!
Did you know Carhartt made back packs? SWMBO got me a sweet Carhartt backpack, made out of the same heavy material their pants and coveralls are made from, it's even got a padded pocket for a laptop!
Looks like we're closing on some acreage we're purchasing within the week. We'll be building soon-ish, so my folks gave us several Home Depot and Lowe's gift cards, all individually wrapped in large boxes so we wouldn't know what was in them.
My niece gave me the coolest mug ever:
And the In-Laws surprised the heck out of me, with a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite.

A book my wife made me of pictures of our daughter from a baby till now.
As corny as is sounds watching the kids open their gifts was the best. Everyone was very excited and they managed to make Mom tear up with the gift the three of them picked out for her.
A bunch of different flavors of vegan jerky. I love the stuff, but never think to buy it for myself
