Wheel of Fortune

I know its dumb, but tonight being Pat Sajak's last night hosting Wheel of Fortune is actually making me sad.  Anyone else a wheel watcher?

With Chuck Woolery.  Contestants would earn dollars per spin and then the winner would "shopping spree" from the available prizes.  The few remaining dollars could be taken as a gift certificate or on-account.

Young single 11GTCS used to do his dishes watching "Wheel" in the apartment near his first job.  Pat and Vanna had only been doing the gig for a year or so at that point....  LOL

If anybody can find the clip from South Park with Stan's dad on Jeopardy, post it.

It was the wheel. I know the episode. My categorical knowledge of south park frightens me sometimes.

As a true WoF nerd, I must point out that the "I" in the words "in" and "tonight" is showing, so the "I" in "air" should also be showing. However, the letters F, M, and S are all unused.

I went to WoF tryouts in May of 2019 here in Detroit. Names were pulled at random from a hopper. My name did not get pulled.

Never liked it. Not because game shows are beneath me or anything like that. I cant spell for E36 M3. Now, Jeopardy? I'll bury you.

Going to miss the absolute legend Pat Sajak is.  You should all go review his sign off goodbye.  Shows how much of a class act the guy is.

My buddy got on and pretty much tanked.  He was all prepared and did poorly.  The odd thing is he said the prizes and money take a few months to arrive.  He did have a great time.

I was watching Wheel as a college student and can still watch it, at the same time with the same hosts today.  It is one of those things that has kept me from feeling old.

Well, I guess no more Wheel watching for me....

I watched Lets make a Deal with Monty Hall at lunch for years , 

never really got into Wheel of Fortune , 

Amazing how any decades some of these shows last :)
