Who picks out the colors at GM anyways???

I think the Metallic bothers me more than the color on all three of the camaros pictured.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but current cars use a HUGE amount of metalic in their paint. Most whites have buttload of pearl also. I guess they like the way they look a bit shinier when dirty. Makes them a PITA to touch up though.

My favorite 'unusual' color:

Black Tulip.

I wholeheartedly concur. I liked that color when they introduced it on Corvettes, but now that every 3rd GM vehicle I see is that color, I can't stand it any more.

There are a lot more orangish cars around. When I bought this one in 2005 there weren't as many. I still like the color though.

I'm not sure we won't see more Skittles colored cars in the future. I see more green Mazda2s than any other color. Those things are so bright you can see them around corners. I seem to recall the SRT4s getting some pretty loud paint, too.

Its real and its the best color they have out right now IMO.

Sometimes, I feel a bit sad about selling an Estoril Blue M Coupe.

(Not me but.... dayum.)

I want Sherwood Green to come back. Dad's Skylark was so nice in that color. Not the exact car, since this is a coupe instead of a 'vert, but pretty nonetheless.

Also Butternut Yellow.

I'm not a GM man by any stretch but I saw a Steel City Grey C3 Corvette on Mecum a few weeks ago. I was blown away. That is easily my second favorite color behind Dark Highland Green. I think the new 'maro would look great in Steel City Grey.

No it can't. That's a Spark, not a Sonic.

Add Java Metallic and Canteen Green to that list. Nissan does have some great colors, but they're all orange peeled from the factory worse than my attempts of spraying some Nason in the garage.

I stand corrected, not that it really makes a difference.

Mazda couldnt sell the original sunburst yellow car in 1992. My wife has one of 1557 or something like that. That color has always added $2500 to the value.
