Size and shape looks like rabbit. Quantity suggests deer, but the size is small.
My grandfather would have said that flavor is the best identifier.

One of this year's crop of deer. Our NC farm is covered up with yearlings. There are piles just like that everywhere.
Of note, deer eyes glow yellow in a flashlight. 15 of them in a dark field will scare the crap out of a 19-year-old walking back to the RV by himself with nothing but a cellphone light. The way he came running back to the house suggested there may have been demons out there.
30 eyes would probably raise the hair on my neck as well.
