I visit this site more then I visit the bathroom and the kitchen combined and I need to know why you haven't educated me on the next generation of slot car racing. It's a bit pricey right now, and I'd like to see more tracks available but this thing blows my mind. I can play one car and have the other three cars on the track but running AI?!?! I'm sure the day is coming when you will have more elaborate tracks and more cars on it at a time, but man, this thing is stinking cool. I'd like to see modular tracks too. A-freaking-mazing!!

We're still finding out the capabilities of these devices we carry around with ourselves. Their pretty much endless and this is proof.

I get the fun of AI-driven competitor cars so you're not just driving around by yourself.

That said, I don't get the appeal of tablet/phone as interface for things like this. Give me a trigger throttle for a slot car, two joysticks for a helicopter, etc, etc...

They kind of hid their "about" stuff, so I may be jumping to conclusions. If so, I apologize...

To be honest, this doesn't do much for me. Hell, I'm still stuck in about 1998 as far as slot cars go.

Much like with trains, I like the old school stuff. Sparks, the smell of burning motors, etc. It gives them character.

If I want to so something more realistic, I pick up racing Kyosho Mini-Zs again. I usually fall ink that every 5 years or so.

I could see me and the kids having a ball with these. The fact that the AI cars know where the other cars are, and are out to take you oit is very cool.
