Just curious. Has it been tried here yet? I figured as tight as this group is, it had to be brought up (and possibly killed due to failure) before.
That is all.

I haven't seen any mention of it before.
I think it should be secret santa with random stuff you have sitting around the shop/garage.
It doesn't happen here due to the large contingent of Miata owners......hell, one of the miata specific boards had a game to see who could make the gayest looking package. The results of that are why I am leery of any type of secret santa here.
I would be in for a 15-20 limit and a flat rate USPS box. Please, no gay package. I have all that stuff already and don't want duplicates.

You have gay package?
I was thinking along the lines of "random something from your garage that'll fit in a flat rate box".
Kind of late to do it this year though I think.
I know the old subaru fourm I was on did this. It turned out really well. Just grab a bunch of random stuff and put it in a flat rate box. I would love to do this again.
Random garage item in a flat rate box sounds fun. My wife did board game forum secret santa. I ended up shipping $120 of games to Belarus for $75
If it was random crap off my desk it would include right now- 3 Zamac Hakosuka skyline hotwheels, a half empty beer, a chrome Grave Digger monster truck, two miata hotwheels, 120 prizmacolor colored pencils (the fancy ones!) a drafting brush, 2 pencil sharperners, two rolls of masking tape, about 10 erasers, a box of Ticonderoga pencils, and my cell phone. Oh and some powder graphite I was using to fix my Dyson. And a dollar. And some Sharpies.
Wondering how many folks would open their 'present' to find an old, worn out, oil stained, slightly torn and perfectly broken in GRM t-shirt.
