The first two jobs I interviewed for (1977 and 1982), they told me they would be interviewing several more people over the next few weeks. Both times, they called me the day afer the interview and offered me the job. It hasn't happened that way since.

Gah! I will continue to cross my fingers...

I had an interview last week, they said they'd call this week with yes OR no, and yet no call.

I figure that is better than getting called right after the interview with a NO. I may still be in the running...

I've had 4 interviews in the last 2 months and nothing yet. :(

Don't worry about not getting called back.

HR can be slow, management can be busy, there are other processes, like the position and candidate getting signed-off on by the business, quarterly budgets and forecasts, and so-on.

I once had a job take 3 months from 1st interview to offer due to all sorts of factors. Believe me, over that time, there were a lot of "we should know something Friday", resulting in my following up at 2:00 PM on Tuesday.
