I only get six months out of Cats but they are so comfortable that it's worth it. I'm pushing 205-210lb these days and when I'm at work, if I'm clocked in, I'm running.
I usually only get 3-4 months out of any other kind, the best being, oddly enough, the Brahma boots from Wal-mart. The rest of the reason I buy $150 Cats twice a year instead of $40 Brahmas three times a year, is that I will do anything to not go into a Wal-mart.
But the Cats are comfy right until the day they finally separate apart.
