Seeing as a favorite topic in here is "Why doesnt (manufacturer) bring over the (model)" what world market car would want for yourself? I think I would have to pick a diesel tacoma/hilux.(ex cab, 4x4, off road package)

In South Africa you can buy a brand new VW Citi. It is an A1 Golf/Rabbit. That's right, a vehicle that was last sold in the US in 1984 still has a version (though updated) being produced new some 25 years later.

Any of a number of small diesel hatchbacks (BMW 1 series 5 door, etc).

Fiat 500 Abarth.

Since BWM also makes the 1 series as a diesel 3 door hatchback...perhaps, if the price were right?

Mexico had some righteous Nissan Hardbody pickups in 03 still. Normal bed with the useful outer lips w/handles, 4-doors (full size), VQ35 V6 with a stick and 4x4 with locking hubs, mmmmm mmmmm! That's a seriously useful and cool truck.

My pick would be the previous Focus RS or an M5 wagon.

My wife would probably choose the previous generation Audi RS4 wagon.

Classic? Lancia Stratos. My favorite Italian car, period.

Modern? Either a 2nd gen Renault Clio V6 Sport or an RB26DETT-powered R32 Skyline GTS-T (basically a RWD GT-R).

Just opened a new SEAT dealer here in Tijuana. We had new VW Type 1 swingaxles until a few years ago...

Aren't they still making B13 Sentras in Mexico? Seems like a nice parts source for classic Sentra SE-R owners.

Ah, the Tsoru. Yes the B13 Sentra lives!

SCC had a write-up by Dave Collman, no less.

Yeah, I know they are bad for me, but I still like 'em. Or a Hyundai Pony pickup (and to the guy I'm arguing panel painting with...here's a prime example of why not to)

I don't have so much lust for cars as I used to...we got the WRX and EVO, so that solved most of the problems. Our current selections are actually pretty good.

They still making Renault Sport Spiders? I'd sell the child I don't have for one of those.

(Who'dve thought that a 'desirable car' list would include so many Frenchies?)

Dont know if they make it but a mid to small size pick-up with vinyl seats, crank windows, manual locks, 4 wheel drive, 5 speed manual, oh yeah and around a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder DIESEL Probably available in South America, but I dont know who would make one. I dont expect I would ever have to buy another small truck. Maybe thats why I cant get one here?
