Well this past week has been pretty rough for me and as I prepare myself to potentially need to sell off some of my fleet of cars too I figured I'd start with some tools first.
Harbor freight engine hoist- A little rough right now broke a castor off when it fell over dragging an engine and the ram leaks fluid. Fill it up and it works but leaks out. You can buy new rams from harbor freight or try to find the leak. $50
Big Red engine stand - Nothing wrong with it. Had the 5.3LS I ended up selling on it. Amazon description "BIG RED T26801 Torin Steel Rotating Engine Stand with 360 Degree Rotating Head and Folding Frame: 3/4 Ton (1,500 lb) Capacity, Red" $80
Harbor freight lift table. - Used it to drop the engine and transmission from the Boxster. It's the 500 pound capacity one. The rubber mat it just a little roughed up from the engine being turned on it but still in one piece. New it's $250, looking for $150.
And saving the biggest for last my Quickjack 5000TL Used a couple times with my TT, Avant, and Boxster. 24" max lift. Plus the accessory wall hanging mounts. $1000.
Its a dreary rainy day in CT but I'll snap up a couple pictures in the next couple of days for anybody interested.
