This chassis was my pride and joy. I was going to use it as a base to rebuild my former turbo NB after totaling it. Life has changed.
The red car and it's drivetrain have moved on to Duster13- he is using it to build his Challenge car.
This chassis is one of the best chassis you will ever find. It was a rust free shell that had never been in an accident. It has been seam stitch welded, sandblasted to bare metal, and powder coated with epoxy primer. It is ready for final paint and to begin bolting together with parts from your donor car.
It's the perfect start for rebuilding a race car that has hit the wall, or a car that has nice parts but has succumbed to rust or accident.
Car has GA title, and is located near Phenix City AL.
$2300

Can I ask the Craigslist questions?
Does it run?
Will you trade for a gun?
Does it have the 1.6 or 1.8 motor?
Still available?
Does it have power seats?
Manual or Automatic?
How many miles?
How much would it take to finish it?

Sale also includes a lot of misc parts:
- Wheels, subframes, steering rack, plastic bits, heat shields, sway bar, etc.
There are a few body panels missing. Does NOT include doors, rear deck, rear bumper, windshield, roof, or interior. And ZERO drivetrain parts. If it's not in the pics, it's not included.
This is a completely bare chassis. Every nut, bolt, wire, clip, etc was removed for powder coating. That stuff is not here. You'll need a donor car.
But the core chassis is a fantastic start!

Note that it was put on a rotisserie for the sandblasting and powder coating. The powder coating is a complete job- top, bottom, and every surface.
The epoxy powder coat is a gloss finished product for the undercarriage, engine bay, and concealed areas. It needs to have a finish coat applied only to the exterior surfaces- UV exposure will make it chalky if it doesn't have a top coat.
It has been stored inside since the powder coating was complete.
this would probably be a "good" starting point for "GLTC" type build
I recall a car that had undergone some VINnanigans a while back, the title and dash VINs matched but the body stamping VINs didn't? Is this that car? I could be thinking of another car. It was in GA or SC or something. It was a few years ago, I looked for the thread but couldn't find it. Was thinking about that when nocones posted his shell wanted thread.

I've never had a mismatched car like that, but I did try to get a clean title for a salvage title car at one point (unsuccessfully).
