I'd love to get a nice Bluetooth CD player single din, non-foldout screen stereo. Doesn't have to be the newest but something good. The kenwood excelon died when my alternator started overcharging and I'm ready to put a new one back in.
I like simple.... anyone have something they won't use???
If you're looking for something good, don't discount the fact that there are Bluetooth adapters that utilize the CD changer interface to add that functionality to vintage equipment. This lets you use a period correct headunit, but have the most important modern feature available for mobile audio. Another option is a Bluetooth amp. No need for the headunit then. That's what I do when I want to keep the factory stereo in something old.
