I've been looking for a scissor lift for my home garage in the style pictured below. I don't have the budget for new but I've got a lot of maintenance projects coming up that I'd like a lift for. Looking to spend around $1200 ideally. Located in the Asheville NC area. If anyone sees any listings that match I'd be much obliged if you sent them my way!

I started looking but I don't see a lot of that style for sale.
Do you need the height because you can find the Quickjacks at that price point but they have a max lift of 24" (newer models, some of the older ones are less)
Although I did just see a post that they're announcing something on 2/25 about the Quickjacks line, so possibly more height.

It's more for the versatility. I'd like to lift everything from my Miata to my 5400 pound SUV. The QJs that are big enough for that are too long for the Miata I think. These also go up higher which is nice - it would be nice to work from a stool instead of my back for suspension stuff.

I do not have any leads, but I can tell you that my Titan 6,600lb scissor lift changed my life. The QJs are nice for changing tires or for if you absolutely, positively, have to get them off the floor and out of the way. But they just don't go up high enough - for anything under the car, you're still crawling on the ground. As as a beginning old person, let me just say: berkeley that E36 M3.
I have a scissor lift in my garage too, and boy howdy has it saved my back!
You might also see if you can find a used MaxJax, the advantage there is it's completely open under the middle of the car vs the scissor lift which isn't.
I've found a few scissor lifts local to me, and one guy has a MaxJax, but a LONG way from you!
Sorry no links either, but a SnapOn lift popped up on my FBM in PA somewhere for $2500. Im guessing they go pretty quick when the do pop up.
Yes they're a game changer for those of us with back injuries. Mine is an older BendPak that needs to be repainted. It easily lifts the old Sorento, although I do need to watch clearance, especially if the door is open. With the door closed I have another foot of lift room available

Looks like it's 25% off site-wide all day today.
Did you have any luck with that one I found in Fla? Or was it vaporware?
Lifty Mcliftface
In reply to MiniDave :
I looked into it and it looks like vaporware. The business address is a residential house in Florida. I do have a lock on one south of Greenville that I'm gonna try to buy on Saturday.
Cool, send me some pics.....also be sure to run it all the way up and down before you hand over the cash!
