I need help. Rodents ate some of the wiring on my daughters '06 Mustang, and I need pictures of what it should be. Passenger side valve cover area. I know the knock sensor wiring and heated PCV are victimized, but I don't know what else there is in that area. I have the Ford wiring diagrams, and I found a harness picture laying spread out. Something seems to be missing, but I'm not sure what. It's an "I don't know what I don't know" situation. Also, a PO changed some things.
Current:
So, I need pictures of what it should be like, and some of the harness exits and which connectors go to which components. It sure seems like I'm missing an entire block of something. Manual transmission, btw.
Harness for reference:
I can shoot a few pics of my son's car - 2010 4.0. It may not be until tmrw; he sometimes goes straight from work>gym>bar on Fridays

I'd really appreciate that, thanks
It's these I'm not sure about.
Those look like injector connectors.
I think so, on Nick's car the injectors also had very short leads outside the harness. I was having huge issues uploading pics yesterday but I'll upload for you once me new mini PC gets here today

I was going to say the same thing.
You're probably right, maybe I'm wrong about the damage, since the car runs and drives just fine, thankfully. The only thing not working is the cruise control.
Sorry. I should have mentioned that.
I should have a chance to look at it more today, since she is supposed to be home.
OK here are a few suboptimal pics to compare for Tues:
Hmm... cruise control should have nothing to do with underhood wiring. It's all software.

Thanks for the pictures. It's not as bad in person as I thought it would be. Pretty sure it's just those 2 circuits I mentioned, new parts are inbound. The connectors don't have enough wire left to attach any repairs to.

You are correct. I just couldn't see them in the pictures she sent. They are fine.

If I'm understanding it correctly, there is a pair of wires that go to the PCM up in that front corner. Probably inside the main harness, which looks ok. Cruise won't activate at all, so I'm just guessing now. It will have to wait til I have more time with it.
