So my somewhat puny air impact has met its match in the slightly corroded bolts that hold the mower blades to the deck. So I need something bigger, stronger, faster and all that.

The big 18V Milwaukee seems to have a good reputation on the 'tube, and Harbor Freight has a similar sized 20V "Hercules" brand impact.

For occasional use, is the Harbor Freight going to do the job or should I just spring for the Milwaukee? I have no horse in this race as my cordless tools so far are Rigid and I don't think they have an impact powerful enough for my need.

I got a Milwaukee on sale a few years back. I'm very happy with it. It's ugga and dugga has been plenty for my uses.

In reply to dculberson :

Oooh, cool. That Rigid combo pack with the additional batteries looks like just the ticket.

Holy Carp! That $199 deal is a steal.

Should be here today, but tracking shows it hasn't even reached the shipper yet.

Oh well, it's not like I bought it because I needed it.
