Recently purchased a 2012 Miata PRHT that had what I think is original equipment PPF, (formerly clear bra). It had yellowed over time. FWIW,  I'm learning not to like this stuff and see limited applications, at least for my fleet and needs.

Not having much experience with PPF, I asked folks who recently installed same on a GR86 I owned about removal. They said "big mess", so I dove right in! It was also on door edges, but I didn't think to take photos.

Tools as pictured, much elbow grease and a little knuckle skin. First photo you can see yellowing pretty clearly. Yeah, I know that's a pun, but you get the picture.

Much better.

A lot of that stuff has problems with mildew forming under it. The G35 had a bad case of it.

On the bright side, with 40k on the clock of a used car, it seems I get a fairly pristine nose, so there's that!
