1st or 2nd gear in all turns, hammer down in straight aways. Slow and steady until you get a clean time. After that open er up.

You still get the same amounts for the races, but those six digit payouts I was getting for leveling up as a driver no longer happen. And the affinity level ups are pretty slow. I just hit level 23 for Chevrolet for 95k. That's after 1200 miles just for Chevy. I'm at about 11k miles total in the game.
I'm running with no assists at all, and on the hardest level. I get 165% bonus on my credits, and it's getting pretty slow when most of the cars I have left to buy run a million credits or better. My storefront has just about ground to a halt as well. Wish I knew how some of those guys get so many hits to their storefronts...
Xbox added a beacon (not bacon, peopl. Don't sploodge your pants.) option to show friends you are looking to play a specific game. Ought to set it. See if it works.
Someone had a great build on a Fiat 131 Abarth that I used on the '80's monthly Rivals mode at Sebring, and now it's not there anymore. I think they left the club. I guess we need to start having races (it is the offseason, right?) before we start losing more.
It was good to race with you RF. Have any of you guys run into server problems as of late? Some leaderboards aren't loading right, autox crashed a few times, and I'm having a hell of a time trying to get in a multiplayer race w/o it dumping me or the other players. Any ideas?
There were a bunch of people on today because of the 'Race with the developers'. I don't know if that had something to do with the race lobby problems, but the update and the XBox update have made a Difference to other areas of the game for sure.
I've kind of strayed away from Forza with the release of Skyrim and all, so it was fun to get back on last night and turn some laps. I've also been having fun building some cars that aren't so extreme.
Here's my recent favorite.
I keep getting strayed away because of all theses awesome games I've been getting as gifts in the month of December. Girlfriend Anniv. and birthday so far have earned me Madden NFL 12, Battlefield 3, and Dirt 3. I need to get back onto Forza and drop this LS1 out of my Trans Am though lol (in real life).
I've been playing COD, Assassins Creed: Revelations, and Forza. When the others are burnt out, it's back to Forza full time. Don't worry too much of others leaving.
OT - is Dirt3 the best of the 3 so far? Dirt(1) is still going for $20 used at GameStop and Dirt2 is just as much as 3...?

Yes, It is. More race options and more cars. Their all good. 3 is the best. I have all of them.
MW3 to me just seems like a way for them to make the biggest profit possible on the least amount of development spent. Feels like a map-pack add on to me.
With the shake up at Infinity Ward that is pretty much what MW3 ended up being. Also there aren't many good camping maps. I did pick Forza back up for a few hours earlier today. Figured I needed to play around with the Fiero a bit.
sounds like a shame... black ops has been SO fun... side note... camping is boring... although it is nice to slow down for a little bit sometimes lol...
found some friends local that do a bit of forza 4 so looks like I may get back into it :)
The COD Map Pack () isn't bad btw. It still swallows time like all of the COD games. It has its flaws (some more blatant than others), but it provides that quick midday game fix.
Speaking of which . . . The Fiero with a LS3 is a RIOT!!
A. Camping is cheap.
B. Sniping is a legitimate excuse.
C. If you're preparing for MW3 make sure you remember your different styles of weapon setups so you can throw them out the window when they don't work worth a damn.
D. Teabag, rinse, repeat.
