My miata with an enthusa exhaust was recorded for the game. I wonder if it made it onto the final cut.

You could wire your xbox to a gaming router...

So far, the Fiesta is the overdog by virtue of more power, but with some time and tuning we should be able to get them on a pretty even field.

Oooh, good idea!
I may just have to "buy" this borrowed XBOX now!!!
Picked it up last night as well as a kinect sensor. They were out of the collector's editions (damnit! wait, what's different?), and I didn't get to play because I'm a smart husband and let the wife get kinect time in
Kind of an awesome week... 5.0s in the shop right now getting carbon clutch packs and 3.73s installed AND it's autocross this weekend AND Forza 4 comes out AND I'm able to get it.
The LCE has a bunch of car packs added on. You can basically upgrade your normal game to the LCE by purchasing the "Season Pass" DLC Pack.
I went with the Pre-Order LCE as it netted me the BMW Art cars (5), the BMW M5, a 5-car "Early Order" Pack, and the WRX from buying through Amazon (who delivered it at 9AM the day of release for 99 cents and the LCE game itself was only $59.99!!!!!).
BTW, I drove a Red Javelin on the Top Gear Track this morning. Berkeleying EPIC

Unless you have a 1-way diff in that FWD, over-driving the corners just goes up in tire smoke on the inside wheel under accel. 4 is all about giving whatever car you're driving just the right amount of gas or brake, and smoothly.
BTW, if you're wondering which car you should take every time you level up, here's a list of the dealership price of each car at each level. Wish I would have found this for level 30. Could have saved myself 4 mil. credits...

Level 1 was tough. I wanted the FIAT Punto, the Fiesta, and the 2. I figured I would actually drive the 2 the most after building a B-Spec replica.
Level 2 was a no brainer, even for an ex-Miata owner like me. It is usually the answer anyways.
Level 3 was really tough. That Alfa was gorgeous and the 2002 Turbo is cool. Even the Hakosuka was cool. Had to be the Z. I didn't see the Elan as a choice though, so I better install the Disc 2 before I play anymore!!!
And WTF!!?!?! I'm going to have to turn down the Javelin to get the Boss 429!!?!?!
I don't know if I have the willpower to do that.
Just take the most expensive car at each level up. That way, you save yourself money (credits) in the long run.
In reply to racerfink: "Also, if you're attacking the corners, you're losing time in 4. "
Hm. In FM3 it was always about attacking the corners for my best lap times.. So you're thinking in FM4 it's more about "Slow in. Fast Out," ? That's what it's seeming to be like to me in 4.
Finally figured out how to import my vinyl groups from 3, so now my more popular designs are up on my store front. The GRM bumper sticker and die cut are free. I'm really liking rivals mode, really fast credits and XP.

I wish my (few that i have) friends had were into Forza, so i could do Rival mode. But to be honest, i'm not very competitive so i guess it's no big loss.
I have been hanging out in the auction house. I was able to snag a Miura (I went with the Ferarri for the free level-up car) for 5k! I have also stocked up on Thunderbirds, and have at least three versions of all the older Mustangs. I almost have 100 cars with an average price of 8k.

Do it. This is seriously the best non-real-car purchase I've ever made in my life. Tons of fun and you might actually stay sharp on your seat time between bouts of actual driving. It really rewards slow-in/fast-out.
Javelin:
Hey, did you go with the Javelin instead of the Boss 429? If so, when you get connected to live I will send you a Boss.

Not there yet, I'm only Level 3. I'll take you up on that though if you want so I can get the Javelin!

That's a big part of why I like it...they serve up a rival who's just a tick faster than your best time. Of course, it's more fun to beat someone you know, but in any case there's someone to chase down.
