I got satellite internet last weekend. First thing I did was try to connect to xbox live. It didnt work.
Yesterday I fired up Forza 4 and it connected to xbox live! Its not a very fast connection, I am almost certain it wont work for gameplay, but I did spend a few hours playing the Drift Rivals challenges, and browsing liveries and decals.
I only have a Free xbox live account right now, so I don't know if my scores count on the global leaderboard for anything. I am kind of curious about that so if you get a notification that "retro hoonage" has beaten your score let me know! Either way the game gives me $$$ for climbing the ranks.

I stay in for the rivals mainly. I've been too busy for any series, but hopefully that will change within the next couple months.

I received my 16 cars (they are sent over in the form of 16 paint jobs for the Mini Cooper) this weekend. Lots of good unlocked decals on there! Well worth the donation!
Alternatively, just message/friend me and I can share them for free as well to keep in the spirit of sharing.

I've got some damn good (if I do say so myself) carbon fiber vinyls I've made that I can send ya'll if you want. I have them on my storefront for like $1k or something like that.

Funny you mentioned carbon fiber, I was playing around with making my own on Monday, I made one with only 17 layers that covers the entire side of the Transport van. The locked CF I scaled up and "traced" has 63 layers.
It looks good but I want to play a little more with some of the layer colors/transparency to get it looking better. But I have something unlocked to work with now....

I shared my 240SX Drift car in the team garage that I used in the Silvia Drift Rivals challenge, with a new paint I just completed. Ill be sharing my AE86 Soon once I get the paint so its unlocked.
Signal Auto Fumiaki Komatsu Drifter X Sil-180 circa 2001-2003. Paint is in my storefront with or without the "pasted on" S15 headlights.
Got em a little while ago. Tried to clean up the Tire Rack logo some, and the XBox locked up on me!

Yeah some of the stuff is really good, some of it needs some work......but who can complain when its all unlocked. Huuuuge time saver if you are trying to put paints on your storefront. 7 of the decals on the car above were from the decal cars.
