OK, I am getting somewhere. I think I can do it. I had to unpack the car to get the skin files, and putting that in the appropriate skins folder added the texture, but left a base color. Changing the color in CM to white effectively cleared the texture. Quick test:

This is the actual track list/order, but we don't have versions of the ovals and I am not sure if we want to run Putman(?). 7 races seem like a good number, but 5 (or 4) is a bit too short. The question is, should we sub in some semi-appropriate tracks from the same (sort of close) area (e.g. Mid-Ohio, Road America?), or should we repeat the ones currently on the list (probably more useful for Brad). I suspect we could find an oval is we want, but would it be good practice, or just silly?

In TDT we did a race with KERS and that is silly fun. I need to add that to another variant of the mini.
I'm out for a bit, still trying to get my foot/ankle to heal. Doc says it will probably be 2-4 weeks before things actually get better, I'm hoping for the earlier side. I may try some one footed sim racing if I start to get too restless, but am going to try to rest for now.
Been messing with the track builder and it is an interesting bit of software. Not intuitive at all and using the Google maps data is even less so. The up side is there are a couple of videos on YouTube that are very helpful.
I am trying to model the road course at NHIS where I learned to race. The rabbit hole of track building is huge.
Track List is updated (with subs). Atlanta Motorsports Park (looks like a fun and reasonably well done track) is on the drive.

Going through the tracks, looks like we are missing Hallet also. There are no free versions out there that I can find.
So, we might need another sub.

Also, I have the Nashville road course oval. It could be fun to run with a group even if it isn't the most interesting track to drive.

Yeah, I don't have an issue with a Roval. It's one of the real tracks, so we should do it. Worst case, if it's silly, we run a quick race and play with another track the rest of the night. We should probably test it out at least.
If we add in Nashville, we should probably drop RA. That's kind of a big boy car track anyway 
I can also prep a "marketing" post for the main page when we are ready to go. I don't know if it will pull anyone in, but it is worth a try.

OK, so I hit my head the other night, then got really drunk and thought I had a great idea...
...so, in the folder, is a Volvo 850 wagon with an engine from a 2010 Camaro motor in it. The suspension etc seems pretty prepped already (base car has like 1000 hp), but I am not sure about the HP and particulars. It currently has about 480 hp. It has some rather large slicks on it (needs tire update). It is a sub car because I am not sure how to split it out. The suspension needs a lot of adjustment, I think it was setup for drift.
Probably not fair competition for the MINI, but... if you have some sort of brain issues... it might be fun to try.
